- Address book (Favorite Address)

What does triploco collect?

We collect the names, addresses, email addresses, and telephone numbers of your contacts.


Why do we collect this information?

We collect this information to enable social features such as ETA status, fare splits, referrals, and ride requests for friends and family.


When do we collect this information?

When you allow triploco to access your address book for specific optional features


Is the collection of this information optional?

Yes. triploco only collects address book(Favorite Address) information with your permission when you choose to sync your contacts. You can change your settings at any time by going to Privacy Settings in the triploco app or by changing app permissions in your device settings.


How long do we retain this information?

We retain this information for as long as you give us permission to access your address book. We collect this information based on your consent.


- Background check

What does triploco collect?

Background checks are generally performed by third-party services on triploco’s behalf. If permitted by law, the checks include driving records and criminal history. In some cases, we collect this information directly, while in others we receive only the results of the user’s background check (i.e. pass or not pass).


Why do we collect this information?

To determine your eligibility to be a driver or delivery partner, to protect our community, and to provide safe rides.


When do we collect this information?

When you sign up to be a driver or delivery partner.


Is the collection of this information optional?

Unless prohibited by law, we require you to pass a background check to be a driver or delivery partner. We do not collect background information for riders or delivery recipients.


How long do we retain this information?

For as long as you are signed up to be a driver or delivery partner, unless longer retention is required by law or is necessary for safety and security purposes. We collect this information based on triploco’s legitimate interests in enhancing the safety and security of our users and services.

- Calendar

What does triploco collect?

We collect date, description, location, number of attendees, time, title, and your RSVP response.


Why do we collect this information?

To enable you to conveniently request rides to events on your calendar. If you enable this collection, your calendar events will appear as shortcuts on the main screen of the triploco app.


When do we collect this information?

When you give Uber permission to access your calendar.


Is the collection of this information optional?

Yes, triploco only collects calendar information with your permission. You can change your permissions at any time through Privacy Settings in the triploco app.


How long do we retain this information?

For as long as you give triploco the permission to access your calendar.

- Device information

What does triploco collect?

triploco may collect information about the devices you use to access our services, including the hardware models, operating systems and versions, software, file names and versions, preferred languages, unique device identifiers, advertising identifiers, serial numbers, device motion information, and mobile network information.


Why do we collect this information?

This information helps us communicate with you; protect your safety and security; optimize and improve your experience; and prevent, detect, and combat fraud.


When do we collect this information?

Whenever you use our services.


Is the collection of this information optional?

triploco retains this information for at least 7 years in connection with regulatory, tax, insurance, and other legal requirements, unless longer retention is required by law. triploco collects this information in order to provide the services and features you request and for purposes of triploco ’s legitimate interests, such as to prevent, detect, and combat fraud.

- Transactional information

What does triploco collect?

Information including the amount charged, date and time, distance traveled, promotion code referral information, services requested or provided, and transaction details.


Why do we collect this information?

This information is used for tax, financial, and other administrative purposes to provide customer support, to prevent and detect fraud, and for research and development.


When do we collect this information?

This information is generated and collected when you request or provide services using triploco’s apps.


Is the collection of this information optional?

No. Transactional information is generated each time you use triploco’s services.


How long do we retain this information?

triploco retains this information for at least 7 years in connection with regulatory, tax, insurance, and other legal requirements, unless longer retention is required by law. See the Information Retention and Deletion section of triploco’s Privacy Policy for more details. triploco collects this information in order to provide and improve the services and features you request, to comply with applicable laws, and for purposes of Uber’s legitimate interests, such as complying with tax, financial, and legal requirements.

- Information from triploco business partners

What does triploco collect?

This generally includes information that is required to enable you to use a third-party app or website in connection with your triploco account, such as when you connect your triploco account to a payment provider or on-demand music service or order an triploco service through a third-party app or website. This may also include information received in connection with joint ventures or data-sharing arrangements with our business partners.


Why do we collect this information?

To enable your use of third-party services in connection with triploco ’s apps.


When do we collect this information?

We collect this information when you connect your triploco account to a partner service or engage with an app or website that uses triploco ’s API (our data-sharing tools) or whose API triploco uses. For example, we may collect this information when you connect your triploco account to a third-party social media service, payment provider, or on-demand music service, or when you order a ride through Google Maps. We may also receive thistriploco information when you request a service or purchase a product that is subject to a joint venture or data-sharing arrangement with an triploco business partner, such as triploco -branded credit cards or through partnerships with restaurants.


Is the collection of this information optional?

You have the option not to connect your triploco account to those of triploco ’s business partners, such as Facebook, Google, Pandora, PayPal, and Spotify. However, depending on the services or features you use, connecting to an triploco business partner is required. For example, in cities where you can pay for your triploco rides with cash, you may be required to connect to a social media business partner to enable cash payment.

User profile

What does triploco collect?

We collect your name, login, password, and phone number and/or email. For riders and delivery recipients, we also collect payment information. In addition, we enable riders and delivery recipients to upload a profile picture to their account. For drivers and delivery partners, we also collect banking information for earning payments, birthday, government ID, photo, and vehicle and insurance information.


Why do we collect this information?

Your information is used to enable your use of our services, to send you relevant and personalized communications, to verify your identity for account access and payments, and to improve our services.


When do we collect this information?

When you create or update your account.


Is the collection of this information optional?

triploco requires some profile information to enable you to use triploco’s services. This generally includes your name, login, password, and phone number. If you are a driver or delivery partner, the additional profile information listed above is also required, including to enable triploco to comply with applicable laws.


How long do we retain this information?

For as long as you maintain your triploco account, unless otherwise required by law. triploco collects this information in order to provide the services and features you request, to comply with applicable laws, to improve safety, and for purposes of triploco’s legitimate interests.

- Demographic data

What does triploco collect?

triploco or service providers performing surveys on triploco ’s behalf may collect information from you through voluntary surveys. The surveys may ask about your background and behavior to help us understand how you use our services. In some countries, we may also receive demographic information about you from third parties.


Why do we collect this information?

We use this information to better understand which features and products users want to see in the future, to help identify areas where we need to make changes, and for direct marketing.


When do we collect this information?

When you complete surveys being conducted by or on behalf of triploco . We also work with marketing partners in certain countries who may provide this information to triploco from time to time.


Is the collection of this information optional?

You can decline to participate in our voluntary surveys. We do not enable opt-outs from collections from third parties.

We retain this information for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. We collect this information based on your consent and based on triploco ’s legitimate interests (for example, to help us better understand our users and how they use our services, and for marketing purposes).

- Location

What does triploco collect?

We collect information that helps us determine your location, including GPS, IP address, and wifi.

Why do we collect this information?

There are numerous ways that your location data creates a smooth and stress-free experience. Your location is used to calculate pricing and fares; offer upfront pricing before you request a ride; facilitate seamless pickups, dropoffs, and deliveries; provide trip status, history, and invoicing; facilitate research and development; enable social features; provide faster and personalized customer support; enhance the safety and security of our users; and prevent, detect, and combat fraud.

When do we collect this information?

For drivers and delivery partners, we collect this information when the app is running in the foreground or background of your device. For riders and delivery recipients who grant triploco permission to collect their location information, we collect this information when the app is running in the foreground. In some regions, we may also collect this information when the app is running in the background. For more detail on how we use your location, please refer to our location help articles for iOS and Android.


Is the collection of this information optional?

Collection of location information is required for drivers and delivery partners. Riders and delivery recipients are not required to turn on location services to use the triploco app. However, opting out may affect the app’s functionality. For example, you will have to manually enter your pickup address and may not be able to use certain features like share ETA. Location information for every trip is collected from the driver, even if location information is not being collected from your device.


How long do we retain this information?

triploco retains this information for at least 7 years in connection with regulatory, tax, insurance, and other legal requirements, unless longer retention is required by law. See the Information Retention and Deletion section of triploco’s Privacy Policy for more details. triploco processes this information in order to provide the services and features you request and for purposes of triploco’s legitimate interests such as safety, security, and fraud prevention for all users. For riders and delivery recipients who have given us permission to collect their location data, we also collect this information on the basis of consent

triploco collects app or website access dates and times, app features or pages viewed, app crashes and other system activity, browser types and information, and third-party sites or services you were using before interacting with our services.

When you use our apps or visit our websites.
